Quick Start Tennis & Advanced Quick Start Tennis (Ages 4-7)
Cost: 7 Week Session $170.00
Quick Start Tennis is designed to introduce children between the ages of 4 and 7 to the game of tennis in a fun and rewarding way. The basic concept behind Quick Start Tennis/10 & Under Tennis (scaled down nets, smaller racquets, low compression balls & smaller courts) follows the successful precedent established in t-Ball (the kid sized version of baseball) and GLM (graduated length method) skiing. In these programs, the elements and equipment of the sport were adapted to fit the needs of children athletes. By matching the game to their size and athletic ability, Quick Start Tennis allows children to learn quickly and to have FUN and success playing the game. Because they have such a good time, children love their first tennis experience and want to continue playing. Fun Unlimited also offers special 10 & Under Red Ball and Orange Ball Tennis Jamborees throughout the year!!!

Hot Shot/Advanced Hot Shot Tennis (Ages 8-10)
Cost: 7 Week Session $215.00
Hot Shot/Advanced Hot Shot Tennis is a 7 week program designed especially for 8-10 year old beginners , advanced beginners and low intermediates. Each one hour lesson features action-packed drills on basic strokes. Children are introduced gradually to competitive play utilizing 10 & Under Tennis tools like low compression orange balls & modified (60 foot) courts. A portion of each lesson is also devoted to working on proper footwork and quickness. The atmosphere of FUN and excitement generated by Hot Shot Tennis is a great way to get your child involved in tennis. We also encourage participation in our 10 & Under Orange Ball Jamborees.

Boy’s & Girl’s Start-Up Clinic (Ages 11-15)
Cost: 7 Week Session $215.00
The Boy’s & Girl’s Start-Up Clinic is a program designed especially for middle school-aged beginners. Since the children in the program are older and anxious to catch up with their friends, the program covers a lot of material quickly. Participants are grouped with children their own age to insure a FUN, comfortable social environment.

Rising Stars (Ages 9-13)

Rising Stars is a program designed for younger, intermediate level juniors. Children continue to develop consistency with their basic strokes. Participants are also introduced to a variety of specialty shots including lobs, drop shots, approach shots, drop volleys and half volleys. In addition, to the lesson, children are encouraged to participate in Fun Unlimited "Match Play" Fridays and the Valley Interscholastic Challenge USTA Jr. Team Tennis on Sundays to practice what they have learned.

Grand Slams (Ages 11-15)

The Grand Slams program is designed for older, intermediate level juniors. Participants continue to work with their ground strokes as well as a variety of specialty shots. Players at this level should be familiar with scoring and court positioning and are encouraged to participate in Fun Unlimited "Match Play" Fridays and the Valley Interscholastic Challenge USTA Jr. Team Tennis Program on Sundays. Emphasis is placed on FUN and enjoyment of the sport.

Pre-Championship B (Ages 10-17)

The Pre-Championship B Program is designed for advanced intermediate players. Children are introduced to the concept of percentage tennis (what shot to hit & when). Participants continue to work on basic shot and specialty shots each week. Once again, children are encouraged to paticipate in the Fun Unlimited "Match Play" Fridays and the Valley Interscholastic Challenge USTA Jr. Team Tennis Program to practice what they have learned in a competitive situation. Players at this level are worked harder than at the lower levels but we still emphasize FUN.

The Pre-Championship A Program is designed for advanced junior players. Children continue to work on basic strokes, specialty shots and percentage tennis. Participants are encouraged to play USTA Jr. Team Tennis (In-house & Greater Hartford). Our staff is always available to help juniors line up matches with other players from the area. Players in this group are also encouraged to play USTA New England Tournaments at the appropriate level.

The Championship Program is designed especially for the top junior players in the area. The program will include consistency drills, specialty shot drills, conditioning drills and work on basic shot patterns. In addition, the program will include two new features called WOW (Work on Weapons) and POW (Pick on Weaknesses), where players work specifically on developing their strengths and learn to attack their opponents weaknesses.
